ASVCP Quality Assurance and Standards Committee
Purpose
The Quality Assurance and Standards (QAS) Committee is involved in quality assurance and quality control veterinary clinical pathology laboratory issues. The committee has worked diligently to develop recommendations and checklists regarding QAS for laboratories performing testing of animal samples. This has resulted in the development of position papers for the ASVCP regarding QAS that should be published on the web-site and in a booklet for distribution. The committee has also helped organize pre-meeting workshops on quality assurance and standards at two annual meetings.
