Goals: |
| The goal of the MVetSc program in clinical
pathology is to graduate competent, broadly trained diagnosticians.
Students also conduct a research project, write a scientific
paper, and participate in small group undergraduate teaching.
The program provides the resources and opportunity for in-depth
investigation of selected clinical cases. The Senior Residency
is available to students who have completed the MVetSc or
equivalent. This 1-year program provides intensive experience
in diagnostic clinical and surgical pathology, experience
with informal undergraduate and graduate teaching, and opportunity
for independent study. The Senior Residency completes the
requirements for eligibility to write the ACVP board examination
and provides a sound base for success in this pursuit. |
