  • American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP)
    • Phase I General Pathology review course offered annually (usually January/February) through Davis-Thompson Foundation
    • Multi-institutional mock board exam, see below for more information:
      • This mock board examination (mock) is compiled and administered annually by multiple training institutions. Its purpose is to familiarize trainees with the general style of questions on the ACVP certification examinations (Phase I and Phase II - Clinical Pathology) and as an aid in identifying areas of weakness with regard to studying for the ACVP examinations. It is not intended as a study tool in and of itself and should not be used as a sole predictor of performance on the ACVP examinations.  Questions are submitted by participating institutions and proofed for accuracy; however, the mock is not a validated assessment tool and there is very minimal quality control.  Of note, questions are not generated by individuals currently on the ACVP certifying examination committee, and any resemblance to prior ACVP examination questions is purely coincidental.  The mock assembly team asserts no conflict of interest with the ACVP certification examinations and assumes no liability for use of the mock.
      • There is no cost to participate in the mock; however, interested institutions are asked to contribute to the mock which can be fulfilled by providing materials/questions and/or assisting with assembly. The mock includes general pathology and clinical pathology exams as well as answer keys with references utilizing the most up-to-date reading list from ACVP.  These materials are prohibited from being reproduced, freely distributed, or shared on social media - keeping with the ethos of shared reward for shared effort.
      • The mock is intended to be an optional ancillary training resource provided to and administered under the guidance of a mentor.  Mentors interested in participating in the mock can contact Dr. Amy MacNeill; interested trainees are advised to have their mentor contact Dr. MacNeill directly.
    • ACVP Maintenance of Certification - due Sept 30 annually for Diplomates certified 2016-present
  • European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP)
  • Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath)
  • American Board of Toxicology (ABT)
  • European Registered Toxicologist (ERT)
